A constant theme from the y**s this morning is that we were very 'physical', ignoring the fact that they got three yellows (could have been more) and we got none.
Bad losers doesn't even begin to describe those tossers.

Bottles another second yellow card decision on Davies, too. Tried to wipe out Obiang (I think) who was past him, but our boy didn't go down, ref played advantage then didn't go back to it.

Liked the way they talked about all the injuries Spurs had having an affect on their performance on match of the day

Referee took the easy way out and gave a foul against EE.

I thought that goose, son!

Looking at the highlight, looks like EE had a slight tug of his shirt to get ahead of him.

can someone tell me what happened (2nd half) when EE was through on goal, the guy pulled him back and the lino gave a free kick to them?

he cant have been offside so did he give a foul against EE?? If so it looked like an awful decision from my seat but no report i have read mentions it.

Someone asked me if I'd take us winning the cup, for them winning the league.

I'm not sure. Cups are soon forgotten, but they would be banging on about the fucking league for years.

Fucking disrespectful losing Yid mug, Mason.

The Tottenham midfielder told Spurs TV: “It’s a huge game.

“The London derby is massive, and it has a different feel to it. Saturday is our proper derby and we have some good results over the last year or two [against Arsenal].

“Hopefully we can put in a good performance, and get back on track.

“Tottenham-Arsenal games are the biggest ones of the season, they are massive.

"As I said we have got some good results over them in the last few years, and hopefully Saturday will be no different.”

But I thought we needed to be careful what we wished for? after all we are only a yo-yo team! also we shouldn't be allowed a player like Payet cause we're not considered a top 4 team who of course are fully entitled to such talent over anyone else, we'll be shit once he moves on in the summer!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

harps - Yea, the only time my heart was in my mouth was when it looked like Kane was gonna tap in that rebound 2nd half, which was originally offside, btw. You can see why some were saying they needed another striker in Jan, they didn't really have anyone to fear coming off the bench. That may end up costing them.

Bonzo enjoyed it....

From the Standard

Billy Bonds, stood in the lounge which bears his name, his eyes shining.

That was just like old times, said the 69-year-old West Ham legend with a grin of appreciation.

No one present at the Boleyn Ground last night knows more about the special atmosphere at the old ground than Bonds.

Bonds spent 27 years at West Ham, as a player, coach and manager, and the one-time Boleyn buccaneer will have enjoyed many such nights down in the East End.

Last nights game the last ever derby between these clubs at the ground is one that Bonds would have relished. He played a record 793 games for the club and made a million tackles, most of them legal.

The 1-0 West Ham victory against a tired-looking Tottenham team was master-minded by manager Slaven Bilic, whose 3-5-2 formation worked perfectly and then executed to the letter by a team who followed Bondss example in every challenge.

The crowd packed into the Boleyn also played their part, aware that nights like these are to be treasured as the clock ticks down to the clubs move down the road to Stratford.

Their famous old theme song Bubbles seemed that bit louder somehow and when Michail Antonio headed home what ultimately proved the winner early on, the roar must have been heard at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

West Ham will soon move on to pastures anew but everyone linked with the club, from Dimitri Payet to Bonds, will surely cherish special Boleyn nights like this one.

There is no doubt that the teams new home will raise the bar significantly next season but its hard to see how last nights raucous atmosphere could be bettered.

Bilics patched-up squad thrived on it. Captain Mark Noble and his team just took a deep breath, remembered the 4-1 defeat at White Hart Lane earlier this season and charged. Spurs, who would have gone top of the Premier League had they won, looked distracted.

Bilics change to three at the back, partly forced on him since he had no recognised right-back, worked like a dream.

There were heroes all over the pitch for West Ham but no one epitomised their approach more than Noble (below). The next home match is set to be the midfielders testimonial and its unlikely there will be a spare seat for a player who, like Bonds, has a heart to match his talent.

'So high was the West Ham press that twice in the opening 50 minutes Hugo Lloris was almost driven back through his own six-yard box by a scuttling claret and blue demon.'

Good work Slav

Cracking piece that scraper.... loved this...

`As this game kicked off in teeming rain this clanky old corrugated arena was a brilliantly noisy square of light in the urban gloom. Spurs have been notable visitors to the Boleyn Ground over the decades. Not quite the ugliest rivals – that honour belongs to Millwall, other half of the misleadingly jolly-sounding Dockers Derby – but close enough to be prominent neighbours`.
